Shipping & Returns

All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

Free Delivery

Delivery is free of charge for all New Zealand orders over $100 and International orders over $250. 

New Zealand Delivery

North Island: 1-2 business days

South Island: 2-3 business days

Rural: Please add an extra 1-2 business days to each region.

All New Zealand mainland orders under $100 come with a flat shipping rate of $11.99.

Please Note: Flat Rate Shipping is not applicable for New Zealand's offshore Islands if you would like us to ship over to any of New Zealand's offshore islands please contact us for a price hello@lunacandlestudio.com.

International Shipping

We offer international shipping to over 200 different countries. To enquire about international shipping costs please email us at hello@lunacandlestudio.com, with details of what you would like to order, and the shipping address.

With the information above we will come back to you with a quote of the international shipping costs. 

International orders may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT/GST), which are incurred once a shipment reaches the destination country. Luna Candle Studio is not responsible for any of these charges, if applied they are the responsibility of the receiver to pay these costs.

Returns and Exchanges

Due to the nature of our products, used candles cannot be returned or refunded. However, we will replace or refund products damaged during shipment from www.lunacandlestudio.com if photographic proof of damage and receipt is submitted to hello@lunacandlestudio.com within 48 hours of arrival.

Please note:

  • We cannot accept exchanges, returns or refunds on sale items, gift cards, limited edition/collaboration items, or any item that is older than 30 days since date of purchase.
  • Items must be returned in their original condition. This means the candles must be unburnt, containing all packaging and have no stains or marks.
  • Orders must be returned to us within 14 days from date of purchase (as indicated on your order).
  • Store credit is valid for 12 months from date of issue and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.
  • The customer must cover for the cost of the return shipping. Luna Candle Studio will not be held responsible for parcels that are lost and cannot be traced with a tracking number.
  • We unfortunately cannot accept returns, exchanges, or refunds that are not purchased from www.lunacandlestudio.com at this time.

Want to cancel an order already made? Please email us within 24 hours of your order time, cancellation is not guaranteed if package has already left our facility. 

How to Make a Return:

Orders must be returned to us within 14 days from date of purchase.

Contact us at hello@lunacandlestudio.com with the items you wish to return. Your subject line should read – ‘RETURN [your order number]’.

IMPORTANT NOTE: It could take between 2-5 days for the parcel to reach us. Once received, processing a return usually takes place within 3-5 business days. Upon arrival, we will inspect the item/s and issue you with store credit. When making a new purchase using store credit, store credit will not be applied on new shipping cost. Customer must pay for new shipping cost.
